Travelife Gold Award

Definition: Travelife (based in England) is an international certification scheme for hotels and accommodations that helps them to improve how they manage their environmental and social impacts, such as the way their energy or water consumption, or how they treat the people they employ or the local community where they operate.

Further Travelife is honoring hotels for displaying a very high level of commitment to sustainability in tourism after a comprehensive audit. Successful hotels and accommodations will achieve a Bronze, Silver or Gold award and will be listed in their Travelife Collection, being viewable for travelers and tour operators on their website.
